Embedded Software Developer C++

For one of my clients, I'm currently looking for an Embedded Software Developer.

Within the R&D department, the focus is on developing new products and optimizing existing ones. As an embedded software developer, the candidate will play a crucial role in this ongoing development by contributing to the design, construction, testing, implementation, and optimization of the software that powers robots.

As an integral part of the software development team, the candidate will actively participate in all stages of the product development process, ensuring the creation of market-ready solutions.
Responsibilities also include translating client requirements-often from product specialists or the R&D manager-into robust software designs, subsequently validating these designs with the client.
Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and documenting the C++ software.

The Ideal Candidate

To thrive in this role, our client is seeking candidates with:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (such as Computer Science or Technical Informatics)
• Experience with agile software development
• Current knowledge of C++ and Linux, along with Git experience
• Familiarity with CI/CD or DevOps
• A basic understanding of control systems and hardware interfacing.

At our client's agency, candidates can expect:

• Salary up to 60k
