Air Compressor Service Technician (Cleveland, OH)

Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 + Overtime + Oncall + Benefits

Location: Cleveland, OH

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an air compressor technician or in a related equipment technician role
• Demonstrated proficiency in independent troubleshooting and repair of equipment
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Capacity to take initiative and operate autonomously
• Basic mechanical and/or electrical aptitude is required
• Capability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. (and occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance)
• Ability to climb various types of equipment
• Dedication to adhering to safety protocols
• Experience with high-pressure air compressors and air piping is advantageous
• Completion of high school education or possession of a GED certificate

Responsibilities:

• Conducting installation, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance tasks on air compressors, vacuum pumps, and air dryers at various locations across OH.
• Installing compressed air lines, such as aluminum and black pipe.
• Ensuring the organization of the company vehicle and tools.
• Maintaining and arranging stock at the company shop.
• Demonstrating honesty, approachability, and reliability in all aspects of the job.
• Providing consultation and guidance to customers regarding their compressed air equipment requirements, as well as maintenance and repair needs.
• Collaborating with the Service Manager to streamline service operations and procure necessary parts.
• Recording all work completed using designated forms and promptly submitting reports to the relevant business units.
• Safely operating portable power equipment, tools, and machinery.
• Collaborating with other Service Technicians and working independently as necessary.
• Attaching trailers to a vehicle and safely transporting equipment.
• This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts scheduled from Monday to Friday.

Salary:

• Compensation ranging from $25.00 to $43.00 per hour, determined by experience and proficiency levels.
