Air Compressor Service Technician

Location: Baltimore, MD

Hourly rate: $25 - $40ph + Overtime + Benefits

Requirements:

• Possess superior communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Exhibit goal-oriented behaviours and time management principles
• Exude a customer-focused attitude
• Apply extensive attention to detail to all tasks
• Toggle between projects and responsibilities with ease
• Have mechanical and electrical experience with pumps and air compressors and ability to troubleshoot.
• Possess basic experience with computers and wireless communication devices preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and 100 lbs. assisted.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and schematics
• Ability to operate test/measuring equipment
• Have pump and air compressor field service experience (preferred).
• Posses a High school diploma / GED equivalent
• Must be able to pass background and reference checks, as well as a drug test
• Must maintain an active driver's license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities:

• Perform expert field service and repairs on pumps and air compressors independently.
• Adhere to OSHA safety requirements at all times.
• Conduct start-up commissioning and training for new and repaired equipment.
• Accurately complete service-related documentation and utilize electronic communication and documentation devices, such as wireless tablets.
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and well-equipped work environment, including the shop, work area, and service vehicle.
• Represent the businesses employees and products courteously and professionally.
• Be on call and available to travel for out-of-town jobs
• Some jobs require overnight stays, and mandatory training classes may require being out of town for up to one week.
• Mentor and assist in training new field service technicians.
• Perform all other assigned duties.
