Air Compressor Service Technician

I'm currently recruiting for an air compressor service technician to cover the Rochester, NY area.

This is for a well known air compressor distributor in NY.

Location: Rochester, NY

Hourly rate: $25ph - $40ph

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and service air compressors, dryers, filters, and related compressed air equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical diagrams and machine faults.
• Deliver technical services, including start-ups, installations, and repairs of air compressors, dryers, tanks, and related compressed air products.
• Complete written evaluations, recommendations, and company reports.
• Utilize service software for communication and scheduling.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and a desire to grow the existing sales and service business.
• Maintain and care for a company vehicle.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer service and consultative expertise.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Strong work ethic with the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with engineering, technical support, sales, management, and customers.
• In-depth understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Outstanding time management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Preferred Experience:

• 2+ Years experience performing preventive maintenance on rotary screw air compressors
• Universal EPA
