SAP Datasphere – Freelance

My client is looking for a SAP Datasphere Proof of Concept (PoC) Implementation Consultant so if this is you I have a great opportunity for you.

3 months + contract duration

Mainly remote with trips to client sight twice a month in Germany

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Consultations:

• Provide expert consultations to assess and validate customer hypotheses regarding SAP Datasphere implementations.
• Engage with customers to understand their specific needs and challenges, providing tailored advice and solutions.
• Lead the initial setup of SAP Datasphere, ensuring seamless integration with the customer's existing environments.
• Configure SAP Datasphere according to best practices and customer requirements.
• Act as a knowledge leader, sharing insights and expertise on SAP Datasphere with the customer team.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the customer team's understanding and capability of SAP Datasphere.
• Thoroughly test and verify all possible configurations of SAP Datasphere.
• Ensure optimal compatibility and performance within diverse customer environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any configuration issues.

Required Experience and Skills:

Technical Proficiency:

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with SAP systems, particularly in setting up and configuring complex environments.
• Strong understanding of SAP Datasphere and its integration capabilities.

collaboration and Communication:

• Skilled in collaborating and communicating with project and IT teams to ensure tasks are completed in alignment with project schedules.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills are essential.
• Preference for candidates who have exposure to retail clients.

Documentation and Support:

• Experienced in writing technical specifications and managing documentation.
• Support both go-live and maintenance activities, ensuring smooth transitions and ongoing performance.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with retail clients is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Position Details:

• Location: Remote / On-site as required by the client
• Duration: Initial contract with potential extension based on performance and project requirements
• Language: Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus

This role is critical for the successful implementation of the SAP Datasphere PoC. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient, an effective communicator, and a collaborative team player, capable of leading the setup and configuration of SAP Datasphere and ensuring its seamless integration into customer environments.
