Job Description:
Objective: Implement a Proof of Concept (POC) for a greenfield OpenText ECM system to replace the existing LiveLink system by 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Development & Implementation:
Lead the development of OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) solutions, leveraging Java web services (CWS) and RESTAPI.
Migrate content and documents from legacy systems to the new OpenText ECM/xECM platform.
Implement ECM solutions using various ECM products and integrate them with SAP systems.
System Configuration & Integration:
Handle the installation, configuration, and administration of OpenText Extended ECM for SAP solutions.
Configure OpenText Extended ECM and Business Workspaces.
Integrate OpenText ECM with SAP modules such as SAP ERP, SAP CRM, and SAP C4C, including driving Fiori integration with xECM with the help of a Fiori developer.
Data Management & Governance:
Establish access control mechanisms such as Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) within the OpenText ECM framework.
Develop governance models for folder structure setup, ideally with experience in manufacturing environments.
Consultation & Collaboration:
Engage with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications.
Work collaboratively within a team, providing mentorship and ensuring adherence to best practices and guidelines in ECM system implementation.
Requirements:
Technical Expertise:
Extensive experience with OpenText ECM (xECM) development, especially in the context of Java web services (CWS) and RESTAPI.
Proficient in content/document migration strategies and techniques.
Strong background in Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
Deep understanding of SAP functionalities and their integration with OpenText ECM.
Familiarity with ECM system installation, configuration, and administration.
Knowledge in advanced ECM topics such as AI integration, connectors, and more is desirable.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong team collaboration skills with a focus on achieving shared objectives.
Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret business requirements into technical solutions.
Additional Requirements:
DevOps Mindset: Emphasis on adopting DevOps best practices for deployment, maintenance, and scaling of OpenText ECM systems.
Governance and Security: Knowledge of access control models and governance structures within ECM systems.
