Project Developer Photovoltaic

My client is a cooperative based in Germany that focuses on renewable energy generation and sustainable development. Founded in 1995, They have Emerged as a Key player in the renewable energy sector. They have numerous farms across Germany utilizing state-of-the-art technology to harness renewable power efficiently. With around 40,000 members, they are the largest energy cooperative In Germany.

They are actively seeking project developer for their project development team. The Team is responsible for the entire process of planning photovoltaic systems from acquisition to the start of Construction for PV System.

Your tasks & requirements

Your tasks

• You can acquire and develop new locations in Germany for solar parks from one of our project planning offices in Mainz, Potsdam, Itzehoe or your home office.
• The focus of your work is on your own project development of new locations as well as on the management of external project development partners.
• You will be responsible for the project from the acquisition of project locations to the readiness for construction of your projects, always keeping an eye on the economic viability of the projects and the legal framework.
• You make initial contact with potential partners and independently conduct all discussions and negotiations with internal and external project participants that are necessary for the development and success of your projects.
• The activity is associated with business trips to the planning regions. You present the projects in different planning phases to a wide range of decision-makers.
• As part of an experienced team, you develop the projects independently until they are ready for construction

Your knowledge and skills

• You have experience in the project development of large photovoltaic systems or other renewable energy projects, and ideally have a related degree (industrial engineering, renewable energy management, geography, urban and regional planning, landscape planning, or a comparable degree program).
• You must speak fluent German- Native or C1 Level
• However, your experience in project development is more important to us than your studies.
• We also require security in dealing with common office packages.
• You are also characterized by strong communication skills, negotiation skills and assertiveness and work independently and goal-oriented.
• You also keep track of a variety of projects
• You have a class B driving license and are willing to travel on business
