Senior Backend Engineer - JAVA - Role Overview

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will be part of the IT Application Development team, focused on developing customer-facing applications and ensuring their seamless integration. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Participating in the design, development, and deployment of complex projects within the EMEA region, as well as launching global initiatives.
• Collaborating with front-end and back-end developers, as well as Middleware Engineers, to create solutions that meet standards, are scalable and extensible, and fulfill both functional and non-functional requirements. Some travel, primarily within Europe and potentially beyond, may be required.
• Working within the Scaled Agile Framework for enterprises, you will interact with various scrum teams, both onsite and offshore.

Senior Backend Engineer - JAVA - Requirements

• Proven track record (5+ years) as a Backend Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in Java (11/17), Webflux, Spring, Springboot, Microservices, Netty.
• Expertise in containerization, API services, databases, CI/CD, messaging platforms, and Git.
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills for interaction with project stakeholders.

Senior Backend Engineer - JAVA - Details

• Hourly rate: 85 - 90 EUR.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Duration: 6 months.
• Office near Amsterdam, with potential for full remote work within the EU.
