We have partnered with a leader in the fracturing industry; they have tasked me with identifying a process control engineer to join their growing team.

Education/Experience Level

  • 3-5 years of experience in automation, controls, and electrical equipment
  • Preferably familiar with Hydraulic Fracturing activities
  • Preferably experienced with the Siemens S7 platform
  • Knowledgeable in equipment controls and logic
  • Proficient in reading electrical/controls drawings
  • Skilled in reading network diagrams

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong time management skills
  • Proven experience in executing controls and automation projects, with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • In-depth knowledge of control systems, Siemens hardware and software, programming languages, protocols, and networking
  • Excellent proficiency in reading, interpreting, understanding, and writing SCL PLC programming language
  • Strong operational mindset with a proven track record
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical principles accurately and effectively
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting P&IDs, PFDs, and other project design documents
