SOC Analyst

For a major German software house's Security Operations Center team we are searching for a SOC Analyst to make an impact in a vibrant, agile & passionate team.

Tasks:

• Investigate and assess security incidents using log events and reports
• Aid in creating and implementing defense measures against cyber threats
• Handle security incidents and instigate response measures
• Develop security information systems and implement threat detection measures, expanding our cybersecurity solutions

Requirements:

• Completed IT vocational training or a degree in cyber security, computer science, or similar
• Relevant experience in IT security or SOC operations
• Proficiency in SIEM infrastructures, network administration, cloud security, and endpoint security solutions
• Expertise in Windows/Linux operating systems
• Effective communication skills and a results-driven, motivated approach
• Bonus: Familiarity with APTs, Machine Learning, AI, and Penetration Testing Red Teaming
