Research Scientist - Quantum Error Correction - Paris
One of our leading customers is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world's hardest problems. This computer will be based on a new kind of superconducting qubit. In comparison to other superconducting platforms, these qubits have the astonishing ability to implement quantum error correction autonomously!
At the forefront of the quantum race, this business is competing with tech giants such as Google or IBM. After securing a 30 million investment, the business is growing across all departments and is looking for a Research Scientist with a focus on Quantum Error Correction.
Tasks:
- Contribute to the development of fault-tolerant architecture; improving QEC schemes and gate designs
- Developing internal architecture performance analysis tool
- Working closely with hardware team to assess performance
- Contributing to the development of the hybrid classical/quantum computing architecture
Experience:
- Strong experience in Quantum Error Correction research
- Experience publishing papers and participating in quantum conferences
- Advanced knowledge in fault-tolerant quantum architectures
