Our client, a prominent player in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Specialist to join their team based in the Netherlands. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a QC Specialist who can help maintain and enhance their rigorous quality standards.

Position Overview:

As the Quality Control Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all pharmaceutical products meet the highest quality standards before they reach the market. This role involves close collaboration with multiple departments, including manufacturing, R&D, and regulatory affairs, to uphold and improve the company's quality control processes.

Your Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Quality Testing: Perform routine and specialized analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using a range of laboratory techniques, including HPLC, GC, and UV/VIS.
• Compliance: Ensure all QC activities adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Documentation: Accurately document all test results, processes, and observations in compliance with GMP and company policies.
• Problem-Solving: Investigate quality issues, deviations, and out-of-specification results, and implement corrective and preventive actions where necessary.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to address quality-related issues, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
• Training: Support the training and mentoring of junior QC staff, promoting best practices and adherence to company standards.
• Audits: Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and providing necessary documentation.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 5 years of industry experience in a similar Quality Control role
• Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and spectroscopy.
• Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems.
• Fluent in English with Dutch an advantage
