This is an opportunity within a forward-thinking clean energy organization, specializing in investments in renewable energy projects across Europe. The organization focuses on nurturing early-stage projects, overseeing their development and construction, and ultimately offering them to institutional investors seeking sustainable, long-term returns within these markets.

With a firm foothold in Poland since 2018, backed by a robust project portfolio, the organization is poised to elevate its operations to the next level. To achieve this, they are seeking talented individuals to bolster their Polish team.

Role Overview:

As a Project Manager within this organization, the core responsibility is to spearhead project development initiatives in the renewable energy sector. Expected contributions encompass:

• Collaborating closely with the Polish team across various project development facets, with particular emphasis on permitting, due diligence, acquisitions, and construction.

• Undertaking technical assessments and due diligence for Photovoltaic (PV), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and other renewable energy assets, actively participating in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) processes.

• Facilitating communication with public authorities, grid operators, and external stakeholders throughout the development phase.

• Maintaining readiness to lend support to diverse projects spanning Europe.

• Establishing and managing internal reporting protocols across the organization.

• Conducting comprehensive research on industry sectors, markets, advisors, partners, and competitors.

• Reporting directly to the Country Director in Poland.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The organization is searching for a candidate who embodies the following attributes:

• Possesses a technical educational background at the university level, with a focus on disciplines such as Engineering or Environmental Science.

• Demonstrates a proven track record in Project Development, spanning activities from land identification and acquisition to feasibility studies and consenting, culminating in the ready-to-build (RtB) stage. Ideally, experience in utility-scale solar or Real Estate projects is preferred.

• Exhibits proficiency in project development, permitting, and project documentation.

• Has exposure to local developers, incumbent utilities, and key market players.

• Holds a fundamental understanding of the national power system, grid management, and the wholesale market.

• Is proficient in MS Office and has experience with AutoCAD, with knowledge of QGIS tools being advantageous.

• Has the ability to thrive in diverse team environments and actively contribute to expansion efforts.

• Demonstrates an open attitude, a willingness to embrace new opportunities and challenges, and a strong commitment to fostering a start-up atmosphere while continuously pursuing self-development.

• Is a native Polish speaker with fluency in English
