Air Compressor Service Technician

I'm currently recruiting for a Air Compressor Service Technician in Knoxville, TN.

This is for a fast growing distributor of compressed air products/equipment.

Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 + Overtime + Benefits

Location: Knoxville, TN

Responsibilities/Qualifications: (Include But Are Not Limited To)

• Possession of a High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory, coupled with technical training in electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics is preferred.
• Maintenance experince on air compressors.
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical skills spanning 1-2 years, showcasing expertise in maintaining, overhauling, and repairing a diverse array of industrial equipment, encompassing electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics. Proficiency in handling low voltage, high voltage, and three-phase electrical power is mandatory.
• Strongly preferred experience with air compressors.
• Beneficial to have experience in HVAC/Refrigeration along with EPA certification.
• Essential computer proficiency for communication, research, work orders, and programming various controllers.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites within the service area. Occasional out-of-town and overnight travel may be required, with expenses and travel costs reimbursed.
• Availability for a rotating on-call schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Capability to safely utilize a wide array of hand tools and power tools, such as drill motors, grinders, and band saws.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 70 lbs. and work in industrial environments characterized by temperature extremes, with continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
• A commendable driving record and proficiency in driving company-provided service vans or pickup trucks is mandatory.
• Completion of daily paperwork is required.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong self-management and professionalism.
• Aptitude for completing tasks within assigned deadlines.
