NB: For this role, we are only considering architects who are already located in the Netherlands. We cannot offer relocation for this role.

Our client is currently in the midst of a major transformation, implementing new architectural standards and frameworks while expanding their global footprint. The biggest challenge will be integrating diverse systems and ensuring seamless communication across various teams and functions.

I'm looking for someone who:

  • Has proven experience as an Enterprise/Solution Architect in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Possesses a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in designing and implementing complex, cross-functional solutions.
  • Has expert knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, including computing, network, storage, monitoring, and security.
  • Demonstrates strong technical expertise in a broad range of technologies, including cloud computing, microservices architecture, and database design.
  • Is proficient in architecture modeling tools and methodologies.
  • Exhibits excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Possesses exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates effective leadership, team-building, and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Can adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
  • Holds TOGAF, SAFe certification, or equivalent enterprise architecture certification.

Who is interested in:

  • Developing insights on technology, industry, and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise.
  • Collaborating with C-level and senior management to develop a digital vision and build the digital strategy.
  • Leading the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to derive architecture requirements.
  • Driving innovation by aligning the mindset towards moving from technology-driven to business outcome-driven architecture.
  • Analyzing the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Producing target-state solution architecture for new and existing solutions.
  • Leading and overseeing the documentation of all architecture design and analysis work.
  • Leading the development of an implementation plan for the EA, based on business requirements and IT strategy.
  • Designing and directing the governance structure and compliance activities associated with the EA.
