Air Compressor Service Technician

Air Compressor Service Technician (Charlotte or Raleigh, NC)

Salary: DOE + Overtime + Benefits

Location: Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC (100mile radius only)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of compressed air equipment at customer facilities.
• Inspect and carry out preventative maintenance for compressed air equipment on-site at customer facilities.
• Provide consultation and advice to customers regarding their compressed air equipment requirements, maintenance, and repairs.
• Record all work completed using specified forms and promptly submit reports to relevant business units.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Parts and Sales Departments, to streamline service delivery to customers.
• Perform additional tasks as required or assigned.

Requirements:

• Completion of High School or equivalent education
• Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in maintaining industrial equipment
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, showcasing strong time management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Capability to take initiative and work independently Exceptional attention to detail

The ideal candidate will have:

• More than one year of experience in maintaining compressed air systems
• Preventative maintenance experience on rotary screw and reciprocating compressors
• More than one year of experience in maintaining refrigeration equipment
• Certification as an EPA Section 608 Technician (Universal Refrigerant)
• Certification in ASSE 6040 (Medical Gas Maintenance Personnel)
