Electrical Design Engineer

The mission:

• Collaborates with project teams (management, manufacturing, commissioning, development) to design equipment and systems.
• Develops comprehensive technical documentation: layouts, cable plans, connection diagrams, equipment details, assembly instructions, parts lists, etc. Considers all relevant specifications, regulations, and manufacturer instructions.
• Optimizes cable usage: works with project participants and suppliers to minimize cable length.
• Defines and manages cable data: establishes cable type, category, and length limitations using cable planning tools.
• Clarifies technical interfaces: ensures clear communication between different components in the system.
• Creates and maintains material catalog: manages the list of materials needed for the project.
• Ensures project success: meets deadlines, budgets, and technical specifications.
• Delivers complete project documentation: provides technical specifications and delivery details.
• Supports testing and delivery: assists in creating test specifications and customer/regulatory delivery protocols.
• Prepares change notifications: documents changes in German and English with detailed descriptions.

Your profile:

• Very good knowledge of both German and English is a MUST
• Completed education as a technician or similar field
• 1-2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in the Shipbuilding industry or related sectors
• Knowledge of design tools (EPLAN)
• Good knowledge of rules and regulations (classification rules)
