Role: Freelance Android Engineer

Join a leading eCommerce client to rebuild a top-tier global research system.
A highly-used system which handles tasks like user feedback and UX research, is being revamped with new AI capabilities. As an Android Engineer, you'll integrate these features into the existing Android app whilst collaboarting with a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and launch features for the Android app used by millions.
• Ensure feature parity with web and iOS platforms.
• Deliver high-quality software with robust CI/CD, testing, code reviews, debugging, and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members across disciplines.
• Provide technical insights and help prioritize tasks.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Android development experience.
• Proficient in Java and Kotlin with knowledge of design patterns and technologies.
• Experience with Jira, Git, Android Studio, debugging, and profiling.
• Knowledge of web services integration and databases.
• Willingness to be on site 2-3 days per week.
