This role focuses on managing and optimizing the deployment, installation, and maintenance of a Document Management System (DMS), particularly the develop system, with a focus on SAP integration, database management, and ensuring performance improvements. It also involves various administrative and DevOps tasks, error resolution, and creating operational documentation.

Installation Routines Optimization:

Collaborate with the software manufacturer to optimize installation routines as necessary.

Build, Deployment, and Release Management (DevOps):

Handle comprehensive build, deployment, and release activities to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

Database Management:

Oversee the installation and maintenance of databases, including performing maintenance measures such as DMS software updates.

Interface Installation and Configuration:

Install and configure system interfaces, including connections to SAP systems, SAPArchiveLink, and mail integration.

Administrative Activities:

Monitor the DMS system landscape and implement actions to improve system performance.

Perform administrative tasks such as setting up monitoring systems.

Incident and Problem Management (ITIL):

• Participate in error analysis and troubleshooting based on ITIL incident and problem management processes.
• Develop scripts for database analysis and problem-solving.

Documentation Creation and Maintenance:

Create and maintain operating documentation such as installation instructions, operating manuals, how-to articles, FAQs, and error descriptions.

Optional Responsibilities:

Support project management by completing special thematic assignments such as preparing presentations.

Special Requirements:

Technical Expertise:

• Develop DMS: Strong knowledge of installation and configuration.
• Network Segmentation: Basic knowledge.
• Project Management and Agile Methods: Basic knowledge and familiarity with Agile methods and project standards.

IT Skills:

• Basic understanding of IT processes, IT products, and relevant standards such as ITIL and requirements engineering.
• Familiarity with IT security in software applications.
• Basic knowledge of JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise in DMS systems, database management, and familiarity with IT standards and processes, particularly in an Agile environment. Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both remotely and on-site will be crucial for success.
