Automation Engineer

You'll be at the forefront of technological innovation as an Automation Engineer. Your expertise will drive efficiency, enhance quality, and ensure safety in our state-of-the-art facilities.

Your Impact:

• Develop and implement automation strategies for increased production efficiency and product quality.
• Explore and integrate cutting-edge technologies to streamline production processes.
• Collaborate with industry leaders to identify automation opportunities and align strategic goals.
• Design and implement automated systems that optimize production.
• Program and configure control systems to monitor and control production processes.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement safety measures to ensure a secure workplace.
• Document processes, changes, and maintenance activities in compliance with industry standards.
• Provide support during the commissioning of new production lines and plants.

Your Qualifications:

• Completed engineering degree (Bachelor/Master of Science) in electrical engineering or automation or equivalent.
• Proven experience in automation, ideally in the food industry with a focus on IIOT/Smart Factory/Industry 4.0.
• Expertise in industrial digitization, networking, and automation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar, with experience in business intelligence tools like Power BI.
• Knowledge of MES/SAP/ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex topics effectively.
• Open, communicative, and persuasive personality.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel 20-30% domestically.
• Proficiency in German (fluent), English (fluent), and French (very good knowledge).
