Automation Engineer

We are an independent water treatment supplier established in 2003, specializing in service and spare parts for UV systems. Our clients include municipal and private waterworks, the farming and food industries, and offshore facilities. In 2022, we had a turnover of 63 million and an operating profit of 10 million. We are a team of 20, with offices in Bergen, Oslo, and Ålesund. Due to growing demand, we are seeking an engineer based in Bergen.

In Norway, clean drinking water is available 24/7, thanks to strict water treatment regulations. For 20 years, we have serviced, supplied parts for, and upgraded UV systems that eliminate up to 99.9% of bacteria without harmful chemicals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee projects to renew/rebuild UV facilities at offshore and onshore locations.
• Primarily office-based with occasional travel.
• Design LCI documents, create electrical and signal-related drawings, program PLCs, and coordinate with customers.

Qualifications:

• Education: Electrical power engineer, electrical engineer, or automation engineer.
• Experience: Preferred experience as an electrician Gr. L in industry/offshore, understanding systems, and troubleshooting technical installations. Familiarity with SAP, PCSCHEMATIC, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and CODESYS is a plus.
