Job - Control Technology and Protection Systems Project Manager

Contract Length - 6 months
Project focus: This role involves leading the preparation and project management of control technology and protection systems (Control & Protection) for high-voltage direct current transmission systems (HVDC). Responsibilities include coordinating closely with project management, project leads, and experts from various engineering fields, overseeing technical conception, scope definition, scheduling, costing, quality control, and risk management. Additionally, you'll be responsible for subcontracting, reporting, information management, and ensuring order completion.
Key skills and Experience required:
- University degree in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering, or similar (minimum 4 years)
- At least 7 years of professional experience, including project management
- Strong technical expertise in converter technology, high voltage technology, and control technology
- Ideally, knowledge of HVDC technology and plant engineering
- Proficient in MS Office applications and project management tools
- Business fluent in German
- Intercultural experience and willingness to travel for business trips (customer clarification, commissioning support)
