If you are passionate about driving operational excellence and ensuring regulatory compliance in the hydrogen refueling industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Hydrogen plays a crucial role in reducing CO2 emissions in hard-to-abate sectors, such as long-haul heavy-duty transport. Our client aims to develop 100 hydrogen refueling stations in Europe by 2033. Most of these stations benefit from significant subsidies from national or European authorities, which impose certain constraints on their implementation and operations that must be met and remain auditable.

For stations within his/her perimeter:

  • Drive continuous improvement in technical and commercial performance, focusing on safety, environment, quality, availability, and costs.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate and liaise with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal operation of H2 stations, especially at multi-energy sites.
  • Facilitate the smooth handover of new H2 stations and manage appropriate decommissioning when necessary.

Education Level:

  • Engineer degree (preferred) or Bachelor's degree in a technical field with strong experience

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in industrial operations as an engineer
  • Specific experience in on-site activities (operation and/or maintenance) is a plus

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in Dutch
  • Proficient in English
  • French and German are an advantage

  • Technical knowledge of rotating machines
  • Fundamentals of HSE and process safety (hazards, barriers, human factors)
  • Knowledge of products (GH2, LH2) or relevant technologies is a plus

Management and Behavioral Skills:

  • Coordination and supervision of multiple providers
  • Results-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Autonomous work style
