Civil Designer

What You'll Do:

As a Civil Engineering Designer, you'll play a crucial and multifaceted role in integrated urban development projects. Collaborating closely with direct colleagues and design leaders, you'll connect all technical disciplines to shape the cities of tomorrow. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborative Design: Develop comprehensive designs in partnership with a team of specialists and designers.
• Project Lifecycle Management: Support the entire design process from initial sketches to final plans, including drafting contracts (RAW, UAV-gc).
• Information Gathering: Collect all necessary technical information and requirements, efficiently identifying and consulting with the right stakeholders, even under tight deadlines.
• Customer Requirement Translation: Convert customer needs into actionable designs, working both in-office and on-site.
• Team Coordination: Oversee illustrators in our Global Excellence Center in Romania, ensuring effective collaboration and communication in English.

Your Profile:

• Education: MBO+ or HBO level, preferably in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Approximately 3 years of experience in infrastructure or civil project environments, working as a work planner or designer.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Contract Knowledge: Familiarity with various forms of contracts.
• Attributes: Client-oriented, proactive, practical mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work at different locations/offices across the Netherlands.
