As a Forensic Civil/Structural Engineer, your work will have a direct impact on our clients by supporting the delivery of exceptional project results and providing an outstanding client experience. Your responsibilities will include analyzing the causes and origins of building property damage, personal injuries, and design or installation issues. This covers areas such as construction, roofing, exterior facades, catastrophic claims, and geotechnical investigations.

  • Investigate failures, damages, or defects in civil/structural systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
  • Analyze building systems to determine the cause of failures, evaluate construction quality, and review design or maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct field investigations.
  • Research and prepare recommendations for repair and/or remediation.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for clients.
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with clients, including social interactions at various engagements.


  • Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of employment or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
  • 5-8 years of design experience in residential, commercial, and industrial settings is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 25-30%+.
  • Ability to work in inclement weather and various environmental conditions.
  • Ability to work in high areas such as roofs or scaffolding, requiring physical agility, balance, and a resistance to acrophobia.
