My client is a prominent player in the global renewable energy sector, recognized for its commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly power generation. As a subsidiary of their Group, one of the world's largest electricity companies, they focus exclusively on developing, constructing, and operating renewable energy projects.The company has a diverse portfolio that encompasses a range of renewable energy sources, including wind, solar, and storage solutions. With a strong emphasis on innovation and cutting-edge technology, they strive to contribute to the global transition towards cleaner energy alternatives. Their projects span across various regions, both onshore and offshore, and they play a crucial role in helping nations meet their renewable energy targets.
They are seeking a PV project developer whose main tasks permitting phase negotiating with municipalities and various stakeholders + achieving the construction permit; Identification and development of PV projects until they are ready for construction and obtaining, checking, and negotiating offers from suppliers/service providers - in close coordination with the Groups procurement teams.
Your tasks
- Identification and development of PV projects until they are ready for construction
- Identifying and securing suitable areas as well as instructing and supporting colleagues in identifying/securing areas and assessing them - also during on-site appointments
- Negotiation and conclusion of usage/lease agreements
- Initiation, coordination and review of relevant studies and reports
- Creation of planning law, including coordination and support of land-use planning procedures
- Preparation of approval documents and support of approval procedures
- Participation in EEG tenders or negotiation and conclusion of PPAs
- Technical planning and project planning - in close coordination with the technical teams of the EDFR Group
- Obtaining, checking and negotiating offers from suppliers/service providers - in close coordination with the EDFR Group procurement teams
- Close collaboration/communication with relevant stakeholders such as municipalities, authorities, land owners, project partners, etc.
- Support in the technical assessment and implementation of acquisition opportunities
your profile
- Above-average successfully completed technical/engineering studies or comparable courses
- At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in comparable tasks/areas of activity with very good knowledge of the German PV market and an extensive industry network
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Structured and independent way of working as well as a self-confident and assertive demeanor.
- Strong communication skills and a group and team-oriented way of working
- Very good IT skills (especially MS Excel and Power Point and specialist software, e.g. Windpro (PV module), ArcGis, PV Sys)
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
