Sr. Java Engineer - Role Overview

For a company specializing in e-commerce and delivery services on a global scale. As a leading entity in its sector.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will join the IT Application Development team to develop and integrate customer-facing applications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and deploying complex projects in the EMEA region and launching global initiatives.
  • Collaborating with developers and Middleware Engineers to create scalable, extensible solutions meeting all requirements. Some travel, primarily within Europe, may be required.
  • Working within the Scaled Agile Framework, interacting with scrum teams onsite and offshore.

Sr. Java Engineer - Requirements

  • Proven track record (5+ years) as a Backend Software Engineer.
  • Proficiency in Java (11/17), Webflux, Spring, Springboot, Microservices, Netty.
  • Expertise in containerization, API services, databases, CI/CD, messaging platforms, and Git.
  • Fluency in English with strong communication skills for interaction with project stakeholders.
  • Currently living in the Netherlands.

  • Hourly rate: 85 - 90 EUR | Start date: ASAP. | Duration: 6 months.
