Application Support Engineer

My client is an engineering-focused business who are backed by one of the world's largest tech organizations. Their platform is trusted and used by renowned tech companies including Amazon, Netflix, and Uber.

They're currently expanding their team and are seeking application support engineers for remote roles across the US (with west-coast work hours.) Your role will involve supporting a high-performance cloud-native service for real-time data processing and supporting an open-source initiative to replace Apache Hadoop with Apache Flink for improved concurrent streaming sessions. You'll have the opportunity to dive into areas such as Data Streaming, Big Data, Cloud, and more - while working with a modern tech stack.

The right background for this role includes:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the IT industry.
• At least 1 year of experience in a technical support or customer-facing role.
• Passionate about technology and a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.

You'll become part of one of the largest open-source communities and play a significant role in developing my client's already successful product.
