Plant System Designer

Position Overview:

As a Plant System Designer, you will play a pivotal role in envisioning, designing, and implementing next-generation plant systems that integrate biological knowledge, IoT advancements, and data analytics. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, and data scientists to create solutions that drive agricultural efficiency, enhance green spaces, and contribute to a healthier planet.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed plans and specifications for plant ecosystems that balance ecological principles with technological innovation.
• Integrate sensors, automation, and data analytics into plant systems to monitor and optimize growth conditions.
• Participate in prototyping, testing, and iteration to refine plant system designs for real-world applications.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in sustainable technology, and agricultural practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in designing plant systems, hydroponics, aeroponics, or controlled environment agriculture.
• Proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed technical drawings.
• Familiarity with IoT technologies, sensor integration, and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
