Project Developer

The client is a 100% renewable project developer based with offices in the Netherlands and Germany.

Job role:

1. Develop our current pipeline of projects (solar, wind, battery, hydrogen or combination of them) to the next development stage
2. Guide the renewable energy project(s) through the permitting process.
3. Engage in and coordinate community management for our projects
4. Identify new business opportunities for new and current projects

We develop projects in project teams , as a project developer you have a leading role in bringing your project further and involve the right people at the right time. This could be with Dutch or international colleagues working on our project pipeline. You will be able to shift quickly between disciplines (social, legal, financial and of technical nature).

Characteristics of a successful project developer:

1. Highly developed social skills
2. Analytical and structured
3. Resourceful
4. Team player

Ideally an more experienced candidate is willing to spend time to train and involve younger colleagues. Our experience is that both for junior and senior colleagues its beneficial to be minimal at the office 2-3 days a week.
