Darwin Recruitment are currently hiring for a GIS Data Analyst in Paris for a business that was formed in 1924, currently has 100,000 employees across 130 countries to work in a team in Paris with 55 employees already on a 1-year freelance contract. This company is a global integrated multi-energy company that produces and markets energies, oil, biofuels, natural gas, green gas, renewables and electricity. The assignment is part of the AUSEA project (measuring methane emissions at the Company's industrial facilities), with a dual objective: (1) to process and analyse the data acquired during the acquisition campaigns and (2) to participate in the development and industrialisation of the tools (migration to Azure).

Activities

· For the campaigns assigned to you, process, analyse and interpret the data acquired (drone data, sensor data and weather data) in order to prepare and present a study report to the project stakeholders.

· Interacting with the R&D team (LQA) and the team in charge of deploying production lines on Azure (Eugea) to share operational requirements and test proposed solutions.

· Participating in the development of new tools to facilitate and improve the quality of the reports delivered.

Technical Skills:

· Data analysis (Python)

· GIS and cartography (QGIS, Arcgis, Python)

· Interest in the subject (understanding the business)

· Interest in Azure and Github tools

· Other: autonomy, critical thinking, rigour, communication
