The mission:

• Proposal Development: Generate customized offer documentation based on client requests or tenders.
• Project Costing: Perform cost calculations for complex shipbuilding projects.
• Ship Design & Analysis: Develop and maintain key metrics for new ship designs and conversions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Prepare ship structures, outfitting, and components to meet all applicable regulations.
• Systems Engineering: Evaluate and pre-design ship systems (equipment, propulsion, etc.).
• Production Optimization: Assess project-specific construction and production methods, including commercial viability.
• Project Documentation: Create comprehensive project documentation for the offer phase.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Facilitate communication between customers, project management, development, production, and suppliers.
• Technical & Commercial Expertise: Provide technical and commercial clarifications and evaluations with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

Your profile:

• Technical proficiency: Solid foundation in mechanical, plant, or shipbuilding engineering.
• Project expertise: Demonstrated experience in professional shipbuilding or complex plant construction projects (calculations, planning, execution).
• Data management: Strong IT skills to maintain database-driven calculations and corresponding ERP integrations.
• Language fluency: Fluent in German and English, with French and/or Italian a bonus.
• Communication & teamwork: Strong communicator, both written and verbally, with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.
