Due to various successful solar projects and more within the EU, now this company seeks an European CFO to join them.

The position encompasses:

• Overseeing the management of the finance department within the European division, encompassing subsidiaries across diverse countries. Directing the European account team.
• Strategizing, guiding, and harmonizing accounting practices across multiple countries, covering accounts, budgets, taxation, and project due diligence. Ensuring conformity to company practices and addressing reporting requirements, including IFRS standards.
• Supervising the preparation of financial statements for various countries.
• Taking the lead on investment deals and project financing initiatives.
• Designing and implementing internal control mechanisms and crafting financial reports for the benefit of management, board members, and shareholders.
• Scrutinizing projects with regards to expenses, budget adherence, performance metrics, and tax considerations.
• Managing interactions with banks, financiers, and insurance entities.
• Engaging in the formulation of economic models and business plans.

Job Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in law, accounting, economics, or business administration is mandatory; possession of a Master's degree in accounting or management will be advantageous. Holding the designation of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is essential.
• Prior experience as a CFO is required, with additional experience in the energy, infrastructure, or public company domain being a beneficial factor.
• A background of working within an international framework. Proficiency in high-level English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Demonstrated capability for autonomous work, self-directed learning, and adeptness in leading, motivating, and coordinating multifaceted processes.
• The role entails international travel.
