The Company:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced System Design Engineer to join our team at Extron. As a System Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our customers by providing technical expertise in AV system designs, product training, troubleshooting, and commissioning. This position is primarily office-based but may require occasional travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively collaborate with sales managers on large designs, tenders, and quotes.
• Ensure timely and thorough follow-up on all large designs, tenders, and quotes.
• Evaluate competitive designs and system products, offering alternative Extron designs
• Provide on-site commissioning support for projects, including Fiber and XTP systems, Quantum systems, and other complex installations.
• Offer office or on-site troubleshooting support to resolve technical issues
• Develop and deliver product and technology training sessions, both in-office and on-site.
• Contribute to the product development process by providing valuable insights on required products or improvements to meet tender requirements and enhance system designs.

Requirement:

• Fluent command of both German and English languages.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and friendly attitude, demonstrating a genuine desire to solve problems and collaborate with others in a friendly atmosphere.
• Strong working experience in AV and/or IT.
• Professional appearance, representing our company's image.
• Work with a diverse range of AV products and cutting-edge technologies, including audio and video products, control systems, AV over network solutions, and more.
• You have an exciting blend of technical expertise, customer interaction, and the chance to influence product development.
