SPS Automation Engineer - Hybrid Cooling Systems (Basel, Switzerland)

We are a leading machine manufacturing company based in Basel, Switzerland, specializing in cutting-edge hybrid cooling systems. We are looking for a talented SPS Automation Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in the development and implementation of automated solutions for our production lines.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and implementing SPS control systems for our hybrid cooling machines.
• Programming and troubleshooting Siemens PLCs (S7-1200/1500) and associated HMI software.
• Collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration of automation systems.
• Optimizing existing automation processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Providing technical support to production personnel on automation-related issues.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in SPS automation.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as an SPS Automation Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with Siemens PLCs (S7-1200/1500) and HMI software.
• Strong understanding of automation principles, control systems, and communication protocols.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in German and English is a must.
