Pump Technician

Pump Technician (high-speed rotating equipment)

Location: Baltimore, MD

Department: Service

Hourly rate: $25 - $40ph + Overtime + Benefits

Requirements:

• Demonstrate exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Display goal-oriented attitudes and adhere to effective time management principles.
• Exhibit meticulous attention to detail across all tasks.
• Effortlessly transition between various projects and responsibilities.
• Proficiently operate test and measuring equipment.
• Possess a minimum of five years of experience in all aspects of repairing and servicing high-speed rotating equipment.
• Possess adequate experience with hand tools.
• Basic familiarity with computers is preferred.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. unassisted and 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Successfully pass background checks, reference verifications, and drug screening.

Responsibilities:

• Disassembling and inspecting high-speed rotating equipment either at the EESCO shop or at a customer's site.
• Implementing safe working protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LO/TO), material handling, rigging, and hazard communication.
• Conducting precise measuring and recording of critical mechanical dimensions on serviced equipment. Compiling condition reports.
• Interacting with customers and shop management. Requesting repair parts as needed.
• Assembling, installing, laser optically aligning, and conducting start-up/testing of serviced equipment.
• Conducting on-site troubleshooting. Responsibly maintaining and utilizing company vehicles, equipment, and tools. Fulfilling any additional assigned duties.
