Senior IoT Engineer

For a client of mine I am actively looking for an IoT Platform Engineer. In this role you will be a key player in their Digital & Information Technology department, driving the digital transformation of the organization. Focused on fortifying the competitive position of the organization, the PLCM team is at the forefront of developing, constructing, managing, and digitizing assets, ensuring the continuous growth of the organization. As part of the IoT Platform team, you will be instrumental in collecting, processing, and providing insightful sensor data for their assets.

Key responsibilities:

• Elevate Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) maturity to transition from historical data analysis to operational use cases on the IoT platform.
• Contribute to the development, construction, and management of data pipelines and transformations.
• Ensure seamless integration of Cisco, IBM, and Azure components within the IoT platform.
• Collaborate with technology partners to enhance the availability, security, and expansion of the IoT platform using Edge computing and Cloud technology.

Qualification:

• Demonstrated experience as a software or data engineer.
• Proficient in Javascript and Python for effective platform development.
• Familiarity with network configuration, particularly (Cisco) network equipment, is highly desirable.
• Experience with OT systems and sensoring is advantageous.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality results collaboratively within a team.
