Join our Data & AI tech hub in Copenhagen
We lead data science initiatives and capabilities and drive an ambitious strategy to fundamentally improve how we operate based on data. This means working with the entire value chain - from logistics and sales to marketing, pricing, and store operations.
As a Lead Data Scientist, you will develop, implement, and deliver complex solutions, ranging from exploratory analyses to automated solutions in production. Using DevOps and DataOps pipelines, you will deploy and maintain solutions, and you will:
Be a leading mind in the Data Science & Machine Learning product team, working closely with skilled ML engineers and (Sr) Data Scientists
Scope and develop new data science products, e.g., for price optimization, inventory management, marketing analytics, consumer analytics, pricing, demand sensing, etc.
Clean, prepare, and synthesize data for use in descriptive analysis, as well as predictive, prescriptive, and generative models
Develop and implement machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) algorithms for real-world problems by using supervised, unsupervised, semi-unsupervised, and reinforcement learning
Deliver solutions based on a modern data platform provided by the Data Platform team
You enjoy applying analytics to real-life business challenges
While self-driven and resourceful, you enjoy working in teams to solve challenges and develop the best solutions. With your creative can-do mindset and strong problem-solving skills, you can find opportunities for process optimization and test the effectiveness of different models and courses of action.
You are always interested in learning new technologies and ways of working - and open to unlearning old ones. Moreover, we imagine that you:
Hold a master's degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline, e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, or operations research
Have significant experience as a Senior Data Scientist or an equivalent quantitative role with a strong focus on statistics
Have significant experience using data science/database software and programming languages, such as SQL, R, and Python
Have experience with unified analytics engines such as Apache Spark and Databricks, as well as with container platform/orchestration systems such as Docker/Kubernetes
Are fluent in English and have solid communication skills; fluency in Danish is a plus
We tackle an endless range of new opportunities
You can look forward to joining a tech hub with highly skilled, motivated, collaborative, and fun-loving colleagues. We share an entrepreneurial spirit and a bias for action. With a broad mandate to experiment, explore, and innovate, we are tackling an endless range of new opportunities.
We are always ready to implement new technologies into our workflow. In addition, your continued personal and professional development is essential to us, and we offer participation in internal and external courses, education, and conferences supporting this development.
