Project focus: As a Project Planning Engineer, you will lead the planning and project management of studies analyzing electrical power systems, network planning, and grid development. Your role will involve planning and analyzing electrical power systems, developing network structures, simulating electrical power systems, and modeling various network elements, including power electronics. Additionally, you'll coordinate engineers from different technical groups and virtual teams within a multi-cultural environment. Actively participating in pre-acquisition and sales activities to drive business growth will be essential. Furthermore, you will integrate power electronic devices, renewable generation, storage devices, etc., into AC grids through conceptual studies, feasibility studies, tender studies, and project execution. Coordination of external partners and sub-suppliers will also be part of your responsibilities.
Key skills and Experience required:
- University degree in electrical power engineering (master's degree)
- Proficiency in typical power system simulation programs such as PSS/E, PowerFactory, PSCAD/EMTDC
- Strong communication skills in business-fluent English and German
- Initiative, creativity, analytical and strategic thinking, teamwork, customer orientation, and the ability to work in intercultural teams characterize your preferred working environment.
