Air Compressor Service Technician

Role Description

The Air Compressor Service Technician will undertake the maintenance, repair, and diagnosis of air compressors and associated equipment. They will conduct field service visits to clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues. Furthermore, the Service Technician will prioritize delivering outstanding customer service and executing routine maintenance duties.

Location: Galesburg, MI (100 Mile radius)

Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 + Overtime + Benefits

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on air compressors and related equipment.
• Conduct field service visits to clients' locations to diagnose and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure all service tasks are completed to the highest standards, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients regarding equipment operation, maintenance, and optimization.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns or questions they may have.
• Document all service activities, including maintenance tasks performed, parts used, and any recommendations for future maintenance or upgrades.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date on industry developments, new technologies, and best practices related to compressed air systems.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of air compressors and related equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate effective time management skills.
• Previous experience in the compressed air industry is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
