Position Overview:

We are helping this company recruit an Equipment Engineer/Technician where your main role will be to take ownership of the quality and availability of production and R&D equipment. The maintenance, calibration, development, documentation and qualification of the equipment available in the environment will be your responsibility. You will be a crucial part of the operation team.

Your Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing equipment or tooling malfunctions.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment both inside and outside the cleanroom environment.
  • Ensure that production and verification equipment meets all quality and performance standards and is available upon request.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with the development and quality teams to (co-)develop or enhance production and verification equipment, either internally or through external sources.
  • Validate equipment in accordance with quality system requirements (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ), including thorough documentation.
  • Support and recommend new equipment initiatives, vendor selection, etc.

Your Profile:

  • Minimum education level is a BSc/Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline
  • Ability to showcase critical thinking when it comes to equipment within laboratories or cleanrooms
  • Excellent technical skills
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role where you are hands on
