Naval Architect

My client is a leading maritime engineering firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Naval Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Naval Architect, you will be instrumental in designing and engineering innovative maritime vessels, collaborating with our team of experts to deliver complex projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of vessel designs from initial concept through basic engineering stages.
  • Conduct inclination tests and stability calculations to ensure vessel safety and performance.
  • Design and implement various ship systems, including Ballast Water Treatment Systems.
  • Analyse vessel motion behaviour using advanced dynamic analysis software.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maritime industry.
  • Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD/BricsCAD, and specialized software like Optimoor and HECSTAB.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented approach.
