Naval Architect
My client is a leading maritime engineering firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Naval Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Naval Architect, you will be instrumental in designing and engineering innovative maritime vessels, collaborating with our team of experts to deliver complex projects.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of vessel designs from initial concept through basic engineering stages.
- Conduct inclination tests and stability calculations to ensure vessel safety and performance.
- Design and implement various ship systems, including Ballast Water Treatment Systems.
- Analyse vessel motion behaviour using advanced dynamic analysis software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maritime industry.
- Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD/BricsCAD, and specialized software like Optimoor and HECSTAB.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented approach.
