PLC Support Engineer (Travel Required)

We are seeking a highly motivated PLC Support Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' automated machinery across various locations.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to client sites to diagnose and troubleshoot PLC system faults
• Analyze PLC code and identify areas for improvement
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to resolve complex issues
• Provide technical support and training to production personnel
• Prepare detailed reports documenting troubleshooting procedures and solutions

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a PLC Support Engineer
• Strong understanding of PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram)
• Experience with major PLC brands (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
