As a Senior IT Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting IT audits in line with established audit standards and industry best practices. Your role will involve identifying, documenting, and recommending improvements based on your assessments. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with management and various teams, providing valuable insights to enhance IT processes and controls. You will report directly to the IT Audit Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple IT audits simultaneously, including SOX compliance and risk-based audits. This involves identifying issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes.
- Conduct interviews, review relevant documents, draft summary memos, perform audit testing, and prepare comprehensive working papers.
- Monitor the timely implementation of action plans set by management and ensure appropriate follow-up activities are completed.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively through written reports and oral presentations to management.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally through individual contacts and group meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of IT auditing experience, preferably within a Big 4 public accounting firm or a comparable organization.
- Preferred certifications: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
- Familiarity with IT governance, risk, and control frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 27001.
- Experience with auditing SAP S/4 HANA and cloud-hosted systems is a plus.
