Job: Head of Electrical & Automation (E&A)
Client Location: Hamburg
Client Industry: Marine Engineering
Project focus:
As the Head of Electrical & Automation (E&A), you will lead a global team of 40 professionals in the E&A Department. This team is a mix of Permanent staff and Contractors who support newbuild, modification, and maintenance projects within the fleet, leveraging cutting-edge techniques and in-house developed platforms for SCADA and process automation.
Key skills and Experience required:
- Academic degree in Engineering, preferably in robotics, industrial automation, electrical, or related fields
- Extensive experience in leading Contractors in Electrical and/or Automation fields
- Ability to foster collaboration and alignment within the team and across the organization
- Experience working with PLCs (Preferably Siemens)
- Comfortable in a family-owned company culture, with a pragmatic and no-nonsense approach
- Proficiency in English; German language skills are advantageous
- Willingness to travel internationally and residing in Hamburg or open to relocation
