For one of my clients, I'm currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer in The Hague. This company works the aviation industry developing high-end technology.
As part of your daily tasks, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, constructing, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and dependable C++ code.
- Identifying bottlenecks and bugs within the codebase and devising effective solutions to address these issues.
- Assisting in maintaining the overall code quality, organization, and automation processes.
- Collaborating with other departments to address technical challenges, including software system design and maintenance.
- Analyzing information and providing recommendations for installing new systems or making modifications to existing ones.
- Consulting with engineering staff to assess software hardware interfaces, and developing specifications and performance requirements accordingly.
- Communicating with the Product Owner to gain insights into limitations or capabilities related to software development.
- Providing guidance and direction for system testing and validation procedures.
- Offering direction for software programming and facilitating the development of comprehensive documentation.
Requirements for the position include:
- 4-5 years or more of relevant working experience on C++
- BsC or MCs in Computer Science, Software engineering etc.
- Unit Test knowledge
- Team leading skills as you will guide young engineers
- Knowledge of SQL, JSON, XML, and some familiarity with JavaScript/Typescript.
- Understanding of embedded systems design and low-level hardware interactions.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
