AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

NB: We can only consider engineers who are already located in the Netherlands for this role. Additionally, we cannot provide visa sponsorship for this role.

Are you great at building and managing AWS Cloud Infrastructure as code, and are you good at optimizing infrastructure? Are you looking to join an employer where you can get a lot of ownership in your work? Would you like to work in a cross-functional team of tightly knit engineers?

Our client is at a pivotal scale-up stage, aiming to dominate the Dutch market within their sector, and more than double their revenue in the coming years. The biggest challenge will be to continuously improve and innovate their existing SaaS product, and the platform that it runs on to keep up with this growth.

I'm looking for someone who:

• Has 5+ years of relevant experience in managing AWS cloud infrastructure as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar. Experience with RDS, S3, Cognito, and CloudWatch is highly appreciated.
• Is very experienced in building infrastructure for scale by code, using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Has experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. It's a big plus if you know how to use CircleCI.
• Has experience setting up Docker and Kubernetes for deploying applications on AWS.
• Is also cybersecurity-minded, with knowledge about HTTPS, certifications, and API Gateways.
