Job Description:

Leading a project to migrate a client's IT infrastructure to a cloud environment using Microsoft Azure and M365.

The project aims to secure the migration of user identities, applications, and data while training the IT Operations team on the maintenance of the new cloud-based environment. This role requires a Security Engineer (Azure) to be onsite in Geneva three days a week.

Position Overview: The Security Engineer (Azure) will develop and implement security solutions for the client's Azure-based infrastructure, ensuring a secure migration process. The role involves both technical security implementation and training responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Security Solutions Development

Develop robust security solutions tailored for the Azure cloud environment.Ensure all aspects of the migration, including user identities, applications, and data, are secur

Oversee the secure migration of the IT infrastructure to Azure, focusing on protecting sensitive data and maintaining compliance with security standards.

Train the IT Operations team on managing and maintaining the security of the cloud-based infrastructure.

Provide ongoing support to ensure the team is well-equipped to handle security-related challenges post-migration.

Requirements:

• Primary Skill:
  • Expertise in Security.Cloud technologies, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in Windows Desktop Environment, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure is desirable.
  • Understanding of cloud security practices and principles.
• Language Skills:
  • Proficient in English (B2+ level).
  • French language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.

Location and Work Arrangement:

• The role is based in Geneva, requiring onsite presence in the customer office three days a week.
• Flexibility for remote work may be limited due to the critical nature of the project and the need for direct collaboration with the client and team.

They should be capable of not only implementing security solutions but also guiding and training the IT team to ensure a smooth transition to the cloud environment.
