As a Data Platform Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting elipsLife's business departments by building and continuously improving a cutting-edge data platform. Your efforts will directly contribute to generating valuable insights and data-driven products that will give our company a strategic advantage.

Your mission will be to design well-thought-out data models that power self-service data-driven analytics solutions. You'll be the master of data integration, seamlessly bringing in data from various structured and semi-structured sources to feed these models. Implementing business logic and quality checks will ensure that data is in the right format and of top-notch quality.

Showcase your coding prowess as you develop, manage, optimize, and test the code used for data processing. Your innovation will come to the forefront as you automate and accelerate data loads, quality checks, and testing processes, enabling quick access to reliable data for our business users.

Your qualifications include a university degree in an IT/Data/Software Engineering related discipline and at least 3 years of experience in enterprise data platform engineering, preferably in the insurance or finance domain. Proficiency in Python, PySpark, T-SQL, and knowledge of scripting languages is essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure data services like Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus will be your forte.

Being well-versed in data integration, management, modeling, and scalable data pipelines will be your superpower. You should also have a good understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines like Azure DevOps and GIT.

If you have experience with public cloud providers like Azure, GCP, or AWS, and are familiar with BI/data analytics tools like PowerBI or Tableau, that's a plus! Additional knowledge of ESB and/or MDM, as well as R and Java experience, will be highly regarded.
