Control engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Automation Engineer with expertise in Siemens PCS7 to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for our clients, ensuring seamless operation and optimization of their processes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop automation systems using Siemens PCS7.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their process requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
* Configure and program PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems.
* Conduct system integration, testing, and commissioning of automation solutions.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation systems.
* Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
* Participate in project planning, scheduling, and documentation.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
* Proven experience with Siemens PCS7, including system architecture, configuration, and programming.
* Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems.
* Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Profinet, Modbus).
*Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
* Willingness to travel to client sites within the Netherlands.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in the oil & gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industries.
* Knowledge of other automation platforms and systems (e.g., Rockwell, Schneider).
* Certifications in automation or process control.
